Groove Disciple is UK based producer/ writer David Osborn, although recently returning to writing and producing after a long hiatus, David has a wealth of experience in the dance music scene. Heavily involved in the garage scene in the early 2000’s with releases on Nu-Vybe as part of Bump’n’Groove and white labels/ remixes as Roger Ruff.
David also works under his other studio name of Bhooka, previously working with then partner ‘T-Bone’ on a number of Funky House releases on Sounds Heavenly and Player Records. This led to the creation of ‘Hot To Trot Records’ which concentrated on funky breaks with a disco flavor.
After a break from music to pursue other opportunities, he now returns full of creative ideas and passion. An accomplished keyboard player and DJ who focuses on musical arrangements within an electronic background, his music has funky grooves with strong melodic overtones. Currently working with established singers Angela Johnson, Phebe Edwards and Kelli Sae.
