Ron Carroll has had a long and distinguished career as a producer, performer, songwriter, DJ and label entrepreneur. In 1994, he got his first big break when he attended the Winter Music Conference in Miami. Still an unknown outside Chicago, Carroll walked up to Louie Vega who gave him a chance to write the lyrics to Barbara Tucjer's "I Get Lifted". This allowed Ron the opportunity to join Mike Dunn and Byron Stingily, also from the Chicago house scene, in the Deep Soul production company as singer, songwriter and producer. He wrote the lyrics for 6 tracks on Stingily's album The Purist and also wrote and produced the anthem "The Sermon". Ron's most recent success was "Let's Stay Together", a #3 hit on the 25/10/24 Music Week Upfront Club Chart! Ron's latest, "It's the Right Thing", remixed by the wonderfully talented Marc Cotterell, is an intensely soulful house follow up to "Let’s Stay Together", that's destined to repeat and very possibly exceed Ron's recent string of chart hits.
