Terry Dexter was born and raised in Detroit ("Go Lions") around the heavy influence of Motown soul, rock, hip hop and gospel, Terry was also exposed and inspired by another Detroit born sound: Electronica. She first achieved international success with the dance remix (EP), of her Warner Bros. Records self-titled first album's single "Better Than Me" which became a Top 5 hit on the Billboard dance chart and then a few years later with the single 'If You Wanna" with Chicago soul/electronic music legend Roy Davis Jr. She's released numerous national/international singles with such luminaries as Steve Hurley, Hex Hector, Kenny Carpenter, Kenny Dope, and most recently, "Come Find Me", co- produced by Terry & George "Sweet Georgie" Jackson, with remixes by Eric Kupper & Richard Earnshaw. Terry & "Sweet Georgie" have recently teamed up with the UK's renowned DJ, remixer, producer, Michael Gray, to create a magical house gem, "You Saved Me". The latest version of this memorable track features the original "Sweet Georgie" mix along with several compelling remixes by Marc Cotterell.
